PUFFY P creates supercute art for licensing. We develop hot properties
with appeal to kids, teens, tweens, and women for a variety of products.
Our work is perfect for apparel, paper & gift, mobile content,
novelty items, animation, and more. With 20+ combined years of experience
in design, illustration, and education, (and an obsession with the
gift / retail market), we strive to create fun and edgy brands.
Our team:
Pilar Erika Johnson, our Chief Puff creates all
of the artwork for PUFFY P. She's a superstar illustrator and designer
out of San Francisco with 12 years of experience creating award
winning art & media for the youth market. The daughter of a
toy package designer for Applause / Knickerbocker, Pilar was exposed
to licensed characters at an early age.
Obsessed with pop culture, teen magazines, and monster trucks, Pilar
has created art for toys, stickers, greeting cards, concert posters,
ad campaigns, and more. Before working in illustration, she was
a children's art teacher and teen group home counselor for many
years. Her client list includes Charles Schwab, Circuit City, Macromedia,
HP, Comcast, and Bill Graham Presents.

Gary Silverstein, our Graphic Design Puff helps out with
print production and graphic design needs. In addition to his 12
plus years experience in the print design industry, he moonlights
as a children's painting teacher.
Sadly, Tiki, our Puffyiness Consultant retired
on March 9, 2008. We will miss her contributions to the PUFFY team.
